Rhodes

The beautiful island Roses never ceases to impress its visitors with its beautiful scenery and rich and varied history. The beach at Lindos said to be the best on the island. The capital, Rhodes Town is a mecca for both sightseers and shoppers alike.

This thriving port provides access to the many beautiful sights on this popular island. On the Eastern coast of Rhodes, high above two spectacular bays is the Acropolis with the Castle of the Knights below which one can find a labyrinth of winding streets and dazzling white buildings. Before the founding of Rhodes Town in 408 BC Lindos was the capital of Rhodes.


Karpathos

Located between the islands of Rhodes and Crete, its authentic pure natural beauties, hospitality and unique wealth is unmatched anywhere else in Greece. It has magnificent beaches, secluded small bays, imposing mountain peaks and local inhabitants who dress up in their traditional costumes. Karpathos comprises of 10 villages lived in by approximately 6,000 people total. The villages preserve the traditional style of the island very intensly. In the South East of the island you can find Pigadia,the capital and main port of the island.is Lefkos, a small fishing village on the north west coast, here you can really find a quiet and peaceful atmosphere in one of the 3 beaches. There are some taverns, hotels and a couple of small supermarkets and a bus goes there every morning from Pigadia, and returns each afternoon.


Patmos

Volcanic and rocky this serene island is known as the site of the apocalyptic revelations of St. John the Divine, written here during his exile from the Roman Empire. The “Cave of Apolcalypse”, where he is said to have lived is now the site of the Monastery of the Apocalypse and where Revelations was written. Quiet island at night but busy stop by day for Cruise ships. A spectacular island with great beaches and landscape.


Kos

Birthplace of Hippocrates, the “father” of medicine. The climate is mild most of the year, taken together with the long hours of sunshine, the endless beaches, the tropical beauty, the enormous historical interest have gradually raised the island to the level of an international tourist centre.


Symi

Symi has the most beautiful harbour in Greece. It offers deep waters and wooded slopes with little churches scattered all over them. On either side of a steep-sided fjord rise tier upon tier of houses, some white, some pale yellow, but virtually all with Neo-Classical pediments - a reminder that 100 years ago this was one of Greece's most prosperous islands. These fine old houses are now being restored for visitors. The spirit of the island remains intact. A sleepy island only 5 miles from Turkey and only a day trip from Rhodes.
